Implementation Approach Project management and the delivery of software implementation services are an integral part of our business. Over the past ten years we have accumulated an enviable reputation for understanding the issues which are likely to confront our clients throughout a software implementation. In addition to working with our clients to overcome such issues we have gone on to develop an implementation methodology which anticipates many of our clients’ concerns. That methodology, which is now in its fourth version, is used in Cogis implementations across the world. All of our Project Managers and Applications Consultants are trained in the use of this method; they are provided with our methodology toolkits and handbooks. Those toolkits consist, among others, of implementation checklists that are based upon the most commonly asked questions of our implementation teams. The toolkits have been designed to enhance the speed of implementation to such an extent that we can confidently propose that, working in partnership with you, we will be able to have a working system designed, built and available for live running on time and budget. The approach is based upon ten phases and is outlined in detail in the following sections: Phase 1 - Project Initiation Phase 2 - Software Installation Phase 3 - Project Team Training Phase 4 - System Design Phase 5 - System Build Phase 6 - User Training Phase 7 - Data Migration Phase 8 - Acceptance Testing Phase 9 - Live Operation Phase 10 - Post Implementation Review |
